Care Guide

  • If you use your foil mast in salt water you must remove the mast from the fuselage after every use and give the bolt holes and the bolts a fresh water rinse. This will prevent galvanic corrosion from damaging your foil mast. If you do not remove the foil mast from the fuselage, galvanic corrosion will occur.

  • Rinse the board plate with fresh water after use and take the mast off your board once a week to rinse the board plate and the bolts with fresh water. This will prevent galvanic corrosion.

  • When foiling, do not run aground on sand, reef, or rocks. This will damage the foil mast’s connection system.

  • Use the mast sleeve whenever transporting the mast. This will protect the finish from scratches or dings while in transit.

  • Do not use stripped screws to secure your foil mast to the fuselage or to the board.
