The Brace, my homespot, which can be deadflat and very windy for speed, which is what I do. Another local flat water sport is ‘t Kuitje, near Den Helder.
5.6 with Nolimitz Original Skinny 370 and 6.3 with a 400. I like a soft race sail.
Full English Breakfast for sure!
Black Label Society, Slayer and many others between rock and trash.
Lüderitz canal for sure….my dream is to go there and set a new PB over 500m.
Tuning smallest sail possible for efficiency in lighter winds, using smallest gear possible for given flatwater conditions. High wind tuning is almost erfect but as I do not like big sail, I am focusing on making the same sails also perform in lighter winds, by changing masts and tuning battens, down- an outhaul….many factors!!
Masts breaking…session over, often sail damage on top of that and probably some distance to cover swimming.
Spin loop with speed kit
Top extenders, base extenders and lplease make the best boom on the planet (got some ideas for that) and an SDM mast with a 62-75/76 bend curve that is soft above the boom and a bit stiffer in the very top
The most consistent mast production quality in the world regarding bend curve and stiffness! Nolimitz deliver what they say! Not many companies get it right like that. That is also why I would love to see other Nolimitz windsurf stuff.
